RESERVED - Copper hoop and mauve glass earrings

Antiqued copper earrings featuring a large round hoop, wire wrapped for interest at the top and dangled with a selection of 5 mauve and purple glass beads at the bottom.

The vast majority of the jewellery that I sell is made entirely by myself; I try and make every component personally and take pride in making something finished from raw materials.  But these are a little different in that the main loop hasn't been made by me, it's actually a commercially made loop from a toggle clasp.  I never used them as toggles as I felt that they came undone too easily and put them aside to use for something else.  I found them recently and thought they'd make a good basis for some earrings and I do like to hoard all sort of bead oddments and mixes in particular colours.  It therefore allows me to offer them at a reduced price point in my 'Credit Crunchers' range.

So I paired the toggle loops with some purple glass beads, which have been wire wrapped on my own balled headpins and they hang from my own straight drop earwires.   Each earring features the same 5 beads, mirrored as a matching pair.

The earrings hang 53mm (2.1") overall from the top of the earwires and hang around 19mm (¾") wide in wear.  All cut ends have been polished smooth for your comfort.
