Red flower marble and rosebud knot earrings

Antiqued copper and red flower marble earrings.  The glossy deep red beads have been wrapped with a fine gauge of copper wire which forms a delicate rosebud knot below the bead, then spirals around the bead to form a double wrapped neck atop the bead.

Each earring is made from a single piece of wire which has been variously knotted, looped around the bead and wrapped above it in an alternative to a more straightforward headpin. I'm forever fiddling with wire in my quest to find new and original ways to feature lovely beads in easy to wear everyday earrings.

The earrings are entirely hand crafted and drop 37mm (1.45") overall from the top of my large classic earwires and are 12mm (<½") at their widest. They have been antiqued to bring out the textures of the wrapping and all cut ends have been filed smooth for your comfort.
