Picture Jasper rosebud knot wrapped copper earrings

Warm brown Picture Jasper semi precious bead earrings wrapped with fine copper wire which forms a delicate twisted rosebud knot beneath the bead, spiralling around it to form a double wrapped neck.

Each earring is made from a single piece of wire which has been variously looped, knotted, spiralled around the bead and wrapped above it in a decorative alternative to a more straightforward headpin.

The Picture Jasper beads are an opaque stone like semi precious bead with warm brown and beige tones with marbling and speckling.  I've shown more than one pair in some of the additional photographs to show the natural variation in the stones, although they are all in the beige to brown range and each pair is matched for tone.

The earrings are entirely hand crafted and drop 34mm (1.3") overall from the top of the straight drop earwires and are 12mm (½") at their widest. They have been antiqued to bring out the textures of the wrapping and all cut ends have been filed smooth for your comfort.
