Jade bead cluster and horseshoe loop pendant on chain

Copper horseshoe loop pendant on chain featuring a generous cluster of soft green and tan gemstones.

The centre of the collection is a long feature torpedo shaped bead of Old Xiu Jade, shouldered by long copper oval beads, serpentine and new jade squares. The tan striations of the main bead have been accented with some small Brazil Sardonyx round beads. The unique nature of the collection of beads ensure that this necklace will be one of a kind.

The horseshoe loop at the pendants core fulfills a dual role, it provides a nice round section to ensure that the beads dangle in a nice shape, but the uppermost arms form the bail that hangs on the chain. This section has been soldered and formed from a single length of wire, hammered and extensively hand-polished. Each of the beads have been double wrapped on my own balled copper headpins.

The pendant hangs 57mm (2¼") below the chain and approximately 30mm (1.15") wide in wear.

The pendant hangs on a belcher or rollo chain of solid copper which will fasten with my own hand crafted hook and loop clasp. The chain will be made to order for you, up to a length of 760mm / 30", so please specify the length you require during checkout. A chain of 24" will be sent by default if no other size is specified.
