Copper heart pendant with faceted rainbow fluorite stone

The centre of this one of a kind necklace is an antiqued copper hammered heart pendant, with a wrapped bail dangling with a faceted rainbow fluorite stone.

The heart pendant has been freehand cold formed in heavy gauge copper wire and soldered closed, then hammered for hardness, shape and texture. It hangs from a smoothly hammered wrapped bail which extends down within the shape of the heart and the loop of it is hung with a dangle of a lovely purple rainbow fluorite faceted stone.

The pendant has been antiqued by oxidising to black, then polishing back the proud surfaces to leave the texture and details enhanced. The pendant hangs from an antiqued copper chain which closes with a hand formed hook and loop, antiqued to match the chain and pendant.  All of the cut ends have been filed smooth and polished to prevent snagging.

The pendant drops 52mm (2") overall in height and is 52mm (2") wide overall in wear. The bail has an internal diameter of 6mm (¼") to allow easy switching to other chains and thongs for a different look.

The pendant comes with an antiqued copper chain which closes with my own hand crafted hook and loop clasp.  The chain will be made for you to order when you advise me of the finished length that you'd like it, up to 550mm (22") - if you'd like longer than 22", please add the 'Copper chain - extra length supplement' as in the Related Products below to your basket too - and don't forget to tell me what finished length that you'd like.
