Circle pendant with hand sculpted flowers and leaves

Hand crafted and sculpted flower circle pendant in antiqued copper.  The pendant has been made from copper precious metal clay and features tiny hand formed flowers and leaves. The pendant hangs from 3 jump rings on a nice quality rollo / belcher chain of antiqued copper, which closes with my own hand crafted hook and loop closure.

I have hand sculpted the pendant from copper precious metal clay, which has been impressed with texture from some vintage lace and each flower and leaf have been hand cut and formed with my fingers - it has not been formed by pressing it into a mold.

Copper clay is a clay like medium made from tiny particles of copper, combined with an organic binder and made into a pliable clay or paste with water. After working with the clay-like medium to form the article, it is thoroughly dried to remove all of the water, the shape is further refined and then fired at high temperature to both burn off the binders and to cause the copper particles to fuse together as solid metal. The pendant has been extensively hand polished and antiqued to bring out the textures and form of the flowers and leaves. The pendant represents very many hours of work, which is reflected in the price and is likely to be somewhat unique.

The pendant hangs 33mm (1.3") overall from the antiqued copper rollo/belcher chain and is 32mm (1¼") at its widest - the 'circle' is fractionally wider than tall. The chain will be made to order for you, up to a length of 762mm (30"), so please specify your requirements during checkout.

Please note the size of the pendant, which is rather delicate but is shown much larger than life size in the photographs.
