Oval copper pendant etched with random stripes

Etched copper oval shaped pendant featuring hand drawn geometric random stripes.  The pendant hangs from a single oval shaped jump ring on a nice quality solid copper cable chain.

I have recently rediscovered my love of copper etching, using a salt water technique and this pendant features a random striped pattern that I drew myself digitally using vector drawing software and used this to create a design resist/mask for the etching process.  You can read more about the process used for these earrings in my blog.

Reduced price:

The copper sheet used for the etch was quite thin, which is ideal for earrings where it's desirable to keep weight to a minimum, but with a pendant a little more weight allows it to hang better.  So having made this, I decided that it's perhaps a bit too light as a pendant at this size, so have reduced the price accordingly.  I'm sure that it can still be enjoyed and the quality is not otherwise compromised.

Size:

The pendant drops 34mm (2.1") from the solid copper cable chain and is 25mm (1") at its widest. 

Cable chain:

The solid copper cable chain supplied fastens with my own hand crafted hook and loop clasp and will be supplied 18" (460mm) by default, but if you'd like a different length (up to 30" within this price), please let me know and I'll be happy to make something else to order for you.  I would suggest that due to the light weight of this pendant, a shorter length might be best in this instance.

Please note that as chains are made to order for each customer, they are polished to match the pendant, where the ones used in photographs are 'prop' chains that don't necessarily match as well, as they are used for more than one design
