Large snake skin jasper rondelle bead earrings, rosebud knot wire wrapped with copper and hung from long scroll ended curved earwires that are a significant feature in the overall design of these elegant earrings.
Snake skin jasper comes in a variety of colours and features lovely dappled patterns. The beads in these antiqued copper earrings are deep rondelle or donut shapes and show subtle patterns in browns and greens.
The beads have been wrapped with a rosebud knot spiral at the base, spiralling around the bead and double wrapped over the neck. Each spiral wrapped dangle hangs from a curved long drop earwire, which terminates above the bead with a hammered and polished scroll.
I have two pairs available of these earrings, one pair shown in most of the photographs are a little lighter overall and will be sent out first and a second slightly darker pair. They ended up slightly different sizes, but they both drop an average of 54mm (approx. 2") overall from the top of the hand crafted earwires and the large beads are 14mm (>½") at their widest.
Please note that because of the design of the earwires, they have been made in a heavier gauge of wire than I usually use for earwires, so please ensure that your piercing can accommodate a heavier earwire.
