Oxidised coiled link earrings with serpentine jade

Entirely hand made earrings in heavily antiqued copper featuring a double coiled, large eyed link, dangled with a translucent spring green oval bead of serpentine jade.

The central feature link of these deeply antiqued copper earrings is a double coiled section of copper wire with a large hammered eye loop at each end. The bottom loop is used to hang a gorgeous spring green translucent oval bead of serpentine jade.  Everything has been entirely hand made by me, including the ball ended headpins and earwires.

The end loops have been hammered slightly and the metal components tumbled for shine and finish and the earrings have been oxidised and tumble polished to bring out the lovely gunmetal tones of the oxidised copper, which has rubbed off a little at proud edges, giving a glimpse of the warm tones of the copper. All cut ends have been filed smooth and round for your comfort and to prevent snagging.

The earrings hang 46mm (1.8") overall from the top of the large classic shaped earwires and are 8mm (0.3") at their widest.
