Long teardrop and rosebud knot looped earrings in antiqued copper. Each earring features a hand tied rosebud knot at the bottom of a long teardrop shaped loop. These earrings have been cold forged in several stages from a single piece of copper wire by tying it into the rosebud knot and forming them into a teardrop shaped loop.
The loops have been hammered and extensively hand polished to a smooth and lustrous finish. The earrings have been antiqued to bring out the textures of the rosebud knots and the warm tones of the copper. All cut ends have been filed smooth for your comfort and to prevent snagging.
They hang 58mm (2¼") overall from the top of my own large classic earwires and are 15mm (0.6") at their widest. I also have a shorter pair available in the shop, as well as other Rosebud Knot items, please see the Related Products section below.
Alternative raw shiny copper finish:
I currently have a single pair available that I have left raw polished copper to allow the option of either finish. So please ensure that you note in the comment box during checkout which finish you would prefer as they will be antiqued for you if no preference is specified. You can see this alternative raw shiny finish in the additional photographs.
