Labradorite and copper long drop earrings

Antiqued copper and Labradorite bead earrings with a long drop wire wrapped neck, with the stones nestled between rustic textured hand crafted bead caps.

I have a habit of making everything to a high degree of polish and finish, but I resisted the temptation with these earrings and went for a more rustic and earthy look, which seemed to suit the rather random texture of the large labradorite stones.

The earrings feature two large labradorite beads, which are nice, with subtle and small areas of blue flash, but they're not highly coloured as some stones are. Each bead hangs between two of my own hand crafted copper beadcaps, which have been given a distressed texture and have been wire wrapped, with a long neck on my own heavy gauge ball ended rosy headpins.

The earrings hang 40mm (1.6") overall from the top of the short drop earwires and the beads are 13mm (>½") in diameter.
