Entirely hand crafted earrings featuring a hammered drop of solid antiqued copper dangling from straight fronted earwires.
Each earring features a drop of hammered copper that has been hammered for shape and texture and the edges rounded and polished for comfort in wear. Then they have been fully oxidised. Once black, they were extensively tumble polished to give the oxidised copper a lovely gunmetal sheen and the proud edges polished off slightly to bring out warm copper highlights and show the pattern of the hammered texture.
There are two pairs to choose from, as shown - both are very light and easy to wear. Each pair hangs from my own straight-fronted earwires of which the ends have been rounded for your comfort. The longer earrings hang 46mm (1.8") overall from the top of the earwires and are 5mm (0.2") at their widest. The shorter pair hang 35mm (1.4") overall from the top of the earwires and are 5mm (0.2") at their widest too.
