Large statement jet colour fire polished crystal earrings with Tibetan silver and Sterling silver. I just have one pair of these monster sized crystals, so these earrings will be one of a kind.
Fire polished is the name given to crystal glass shapes that are cut and then to soften the sharp edges of the cuts, the beads are put back into the flames to just soften and melt the surface of the crystal; fire polished. The jet coloured crystals are capped with Tibetan silver leaf bead caps and hung on my own made Sterling silver balled headpins.
They hang 40mm (1.6") overall from the top of the straight drop Sterling silver earwires (with nice smooth rounded ends for our comfort) and the beads are approximately 14mm (>½") in diameter.
