A hand crafted antiqued copper turquoise bead pendant on chain, with copper flower bead cap and wire wrapped and spiralled bail. The core feature of this necklace is a large chalk turquoise bead over half an inch in diameter, sat atop a hand crafted copper clay flower bead cap and the large eye bail is formed from the large balled copper headpin through the bead which has been spiral wrapped with a finer gauge of wire and spiralled over the bead to form a top bead 'cap'.
The beads are made from stablilised natural chalk turquoise, which I understand to be a composite bead from natural chalks associated with turquoise mining, but pressed together within a resin base and then dyed.
The copper has been antiqued to co-ordinate with the browns of the matrix within the bead and to bring out the texture of the wire wrapping.
The pendant drops 28mm (1.11") overall from the included antiqued copper cable chain. The bead is 14mm (0.55") in diameter. The chain fastens with my own hand crafted hook and loop clasp and will be supplied 18" (460mm) by default, but as it is made to order, if you'd like a different length (up to 24" within this price), please let me know during check out and I'll make it to your requirements.
