RESERVED - Copper circle pendant with Sterling silver wrapped details

Hand crafted circular pendant of hammered copper with Sterling silver wrapped details. This is a substantial piece of weight made with great care and considerable time.

I made a generously sized circle of heavy gauge copper, soldered this closed and hammered it to shape. I made freeform squiggles of a finer gauge of copper and cold forged these to fit the circle. I soldered the internal squiggles to the circle for security in a couple of places and then wrapped where the shapes touch with Sterling silver wire. I cold forged a wrapped Sterling silver bail to match.

The entire pendant has been heavily polished through conventional methods and then finished in the tumbler, then antiqued to bring out the textures. I've taken great care to file all of the ends of the silver wrapping to prevent snagging.

The circle of the pendant is 52mm (2") in diameter and drops 58mm (2.3") overall from the chain. The bail has an internal diameter of >6mm (¼") which will allow it to be worn on different chains or cords.

Chain, length made to order:

The pendant comes with an antiqued copper chain which closes with my own hand crafted hook and loop clasp.  The chain will be made for you to order when you advise me of the finished length that you'd like it, up to 550mm (22")  - and please don't forget to tell me what finished length that you'd like.

Matching earrings:

I have made three pairs of matching earrings, please choose the pair you would prefer - please see the photos by clicking [+] More Images to see them all.  The small teardrops are 50mm (1.9") overall drop and 17mm (0.66") at their widest. The large teardrops are 71mm (2¾") overall and 24mm (<1") at their widest. The ovals are 52mm (2") overall and 17mm (0.66") at their widest. I've included photographs of them all together so that you can compare them side by side.
