These entirely hand crafted and substantial earrings feature a long straight rigid drop of twisted copper with a gorgeous blue/grey/green polygon shaped beads of Indian Fancy Jasper.
The central portion of the earrings features a twisted loop of copper with an eye at each end, which are hammered for texture and then polished smooth. The earring hangs on hand crafted earwires from the top eye and the bottom one is used to hang the beads. Each large bead is wrapped onto one of my own ball ended headpins, with an additional spiral wrap to top the beads.
The Jasper beads are gently faceted and glossy and are a gorgeous subtle colour, that is neither blue, green or grey.
The earrings have been antiqued to bring out the texture of the twists and they hang 65mm (2½") overall from the top of the earwires. The semi-precious gemstones are 11mm (0.45") in diameter.
