Polymer clay heart pendant

A small delicate and feminine heart shaped pendant made by me in polymer clay.  It's a semi translucent clay with assorted inclusions in golds, coppers and black.  I made the mix as a faux agate type stone using crackled gold and copper leaf and pearlescent acrylic paints.

I formed the heart shape by hand and it hangs from a Sterling silver loop embedded in the clay during making.  The heart was sanded to a smooth gloss through various grits of wet and dry and then sealed to retain the shine with several coats of gloss acrylic varnish.

It hangs from a solid Sterling silver leaf bail on a silver plated cable chain, which fastens with a lobster clasp.    The chain will be supplied at 18" (475mm) by default, but please let me know if you'd like a different length and one will be made up for you.

The pendant dangles 27mm (>1") from the necklace and the heart is 22mm (<1") at its widest.


Upgrade the chain to Sterling silver:
