Polymer clay dome shaped pendant on PVC thong necklace

A hemispherical dome shaped pendant hand crafted in polymer clay, featuring swirls of grey green, turquoise and birdwing copper metallic crackles.

The pendant was hand crafted by me in polymer clay by marbling assorted colours and finishes together by hand, then forming the pendant shape.  There are patches of metallic crackle formed by painting metallic iridescent inks onto translucent clay, crackling the finish when dried and mixing in with the other selected colours.

The dome has been extensively hand sanded and buffed to a smooth satin finish.  It has a tube bail glued on the back with epoxy resin (you can see this by selecting [+] More Images) and it hangs on a necklace thong in a silvery grey PVC, which closes with a lobster clasp joined to the thong by my own hand crafted cord ends.  All metalwork is silver plated.

The pendant is 31mm (1¼") in diameter and 20mm (0.8") deep.  The necklace thong currently measures 610mm (24"), which is probably too long for the style of necklace, but one end has been left unfinished so that I can make it up to your preferred length.  Please do let me know during checkout what length you would like the necklace.
