Polished copper teardrop loop pendant

An entirely hand crafted polished teardrop loop pendant, made in one piece and extensively hand polished to a sleek and tactile mirror finish.

The pendant is a delicate and classical shape that can be worn with anything and comes on a lightly antiqued copper cable chain.    I have always loved simple designs and uncluttered lines and this sort of work demands great care to do well and this can only achieved by careful and time-consuming work.

The teardrop has been hand forged from a single loop with an integral twisted bail.  It has been hammered to be slightly deeper at the bottom and then hand-polished to a mirror finish.   Because I aim to photograph pieces without reflections, so that you can see the details, the true degree of shine is not always evident in the photographs.

It hangs 33mm (1¼") overall from the chain in wear and is 19mm (¾") at its widest.   The necklace will be made to order for you [up to 24" (610mm)]  and will close with one of my hand crafted hook and loop clasps.  Please specify the length that you would like at the time of ordering.  A chain 18" (457mm) will be sent by default unless you specify a preference. 

Choice of finish:

The pendant could be fully oxidised for you or antiqued if you prefer, please specify if you'd like a different finish and allow a little extra time for this to be done for you.
