Mauve Shaggy Loops bracelet & earrings

A slinky bracelet with matching earrings made with the Shaggy Loops chainmaille technique. It's deliciously fluid to handle and feels just gorgeous to wear. You'll find it very tactile and won't stop fiddling with it.

It is made with over a hundred and thirty individual gold plated jump rings, each of which has to be opened and closed by hand. Each external loose loop (there are a pair on every link) has a large Czech glass seed bead - a colourway of mauves, purples and lilacs on this bracelet. There are around 18 rings and 12 beads for every inch of bracelet.

It closes with a chunky gold plated toggle clasp, they're nice and easy to fasten one-handed. The loop of the toggle has a 15mm (0.6") outer diameter and the bar is 20mm (0.8") long.

The fit of this bracelet is currently 175mm (<7") and when resting on your skin, spreads to about 12mm (½") wide in wear. I have decided to make these bracelets a little longer by default, as it's easier to take a few links out to fit - but it can equally be increased if you prefer.  The earrings hang 31mm (1¼") overall from the top of the hand formed gold plated earwires. These too can be adjusted in length on request.
