Long flower and leaf cluster earrings

Long shoulder duster earrings which jiggle, tinkle and move fluidly.   The antiqued copper earrings are based on a length of chain which has been extensively wrapped with pressed heart shaped leaf charms and purple glass flowers with rosy copper centres.

When I bought these two different beads from separate places, they arrived around the same time and I thought they looked perfect together.  The lovely warm aubergine purple of the flowers just lent themselves to having rosy copper balled pins at their centre and I double wrapped the leaves (brass stampings with an antiqued copper coating) to give them chunky stems. 

The finished earrings were oxidised and then polished rather more haphazardly than I usually do to give them a distressed appearance.  All of the cut ends have been filed back to prevent snagging.

The earrings hang 81mm (3.2") overall from the top of the hand crafted straight drop earwires and settle to about 19mm (¾") wide in wear.  I have left a few links of bare chain at the top for visual balance, but these can be removed if you'd like them a little shorter.
