Long drop spider web jasper earrings

Antiqued copper and entirely handmade earrings with black spider web jasper dangles on hammered paddle pins and long drop feature earwires.

Whilst making some long drop earwires for a customer I had a play with different shapes of earwires to become a major feature of the earrings and liked this shape.  The long drop feature earwires are hung with a pair of small black spider web jasper stones on hammered and polished paddle headpins which are double wrapped above the stones for further interest.

The earrings have been polished and antiqued and all cut ends filed round to prevent snagging and for comfort.  The earrings hang 50mm (2") overall from the top of the earwires and the widest section of the earwire measures 14mm (0.55") and the jasper stones are 8mm (0.3") in diameter.

This basic design concept could be made to order with other stones or beads or made in Sterling silver, please ask if you'd like something similar.    But I can't make these the same again as I've simply run out of these stones.
