Hammered silver circle pendant with silver pebble

Entirely hand crafted pendant and chain featuring a hammered and highly polished circle of Sterling silver, with a pebble, or nugget, of solid melted silver at the bottom. The pendant has an attached simple bail and hangs from a Sterling silver snake chain.

Whilst I hope that the pendant looks simple and elegant, such a finish takes time, control and care and this is reflected in the price. Once the cold forging, melting and soldering has been done, much time is spent filing, sanding and polishing to get this lovely smooth reflective finish - which is very slinky and smooth to the touch. The pendant was finally finished by tumble polishing.

The pendant hangs 26mm (1") overall from the chain and the polished hammered circle is around 21mm (0.8") in diameter. The solid nugget of silver is around >5mm (>0.2") in diameter and gives a nice weight to the pendant. It comes on a Sterling silver snake chain, either 406mm (16") or 457mm (18") in length, please specify your preference in the notes to seller. The chain is over 1mm in diameter and a good weight, closing with a lobster clasp.
