Copper and onyx wire wrapped bracelet with leaf toggle clasp

Antiqued copper and onyx wire wrapped bracelet with gorgeous glossy black onyx beads, each spiral wrapped with copper wire, antiqued to enhance the textures.

The bracelet closes with my own hand crafted feature leaf shaped toggle clasp with a vine fastening loop and tiny berries.  The toggle bar is formed with a heavy gauge piece of wire, wire wrapped for texture and interest.   The toggle loop has been shaped with a slight curve to allow the bar to sit neatly in place.

Toggle clasps are easy to fasten one-handed and I craft and measure them very carefully for a reliable closure and safety in wear.  They won't come undone by themselves, but that also makes them a little more fiddly to fasten - so you'll need a little ease in the fit to allow the bar to pass all the way through the hole to fall back into place.

Bracelet fit:

The bracelet has a fit of 175mm (<7") and is 15mm (0.6") at its widest, at the toggle bar. 

This bracelet is perhaps on the larger size of average, but I decided that it's much easier to remove links than to add them later.  If the recipient would like a smaller fit, I can remove one link, which will reduce the fit of the bracelet by 20mm (0.8"), giving rise to a new fit of 155mm (6.1").  See the comments above about needing a little ease to fasten the toggle clasp.
