Bronze and Amazonite pendant on leather

Hand crafted bronze pendant with a large glossy oval cabochon of a lovely delicate turquoise coloured Amazonite, held in place with four chunky ball-topped prongs.  The pendant hangs on a necklace comprising 3 strands of matching turquoise leather, closing with hand crafted bronze cord ends and a hook and loop clasp.

The pendant base is a substantial piece of solid bronze featuring my own abstract texture which continues through the integral hanging bail loop.  The Amazonite cabochon is held in place by 4 prongs, each finished with a polished ball. 

The pendant was initially made for a different, irregularly shaped stone, so the prongs were positioned to match recesses in that particular stone, but once fired it didn't fit well, but the Amazonite was a perfect size and actually looked better against the bronze than the intended stone.  Consequently, the prongs are not symmetrical either side of the stone, so I've reduced the price to reflect this modest imperfection.

The pendant drops 40mm (1.6") overall from the necklace and is 31mm (1.2") at its widest - the cabochon is quite substantial, so the pendant is 10mm (0.4") deep. 

Leather necklace made to size:

The leather necklace will be made to order for you so you can have it at the length that you'd prefer - I'd recommend that this sort of necklace will lie best worn at collarbone length, something in the range of 16" (406mm) - 18" (457mm).  If a size isn't specified, it will be sent at 17" (430mm) by default, so please don't forget to let me have your preferred size in the comments box during checkout.
