Autumn vine antiqued copper necklace

Antiqued copper autumn vine necklace featuring a central V shaped cluster of brown Lucite leaf charms, semi-precious gemstone berries and hand crafted copper leaf spirals and outlines, supplemented by molten copper buds.

I made this necklace initially as a gift and have enough materials to make just one more.  Until I have the opportunity to make it again to put in stock, I offer it on a made to order basis.  Please allow around a week for the item to be made to order.

The necklace is made directly into antiqued copper cable chain, with a Y section of chain at the front, generously adorned with a selection of different hand crafted charms. 

The berries are made from various semi-precious gemstones, including Carnelian, green opal, goldstone, red jasper and sardonix - variously wrapped, in different styles, on my own hand crafted balled headpins.    There are leaves of brown Lucite interspersed with my own hand crafted leaf spiral charms, leaf shapes and molten buds.  The decoration is heavy in the central portion, graduating and decreasing in size to blend with the chain to each side.

All of the cut ends have been hand filed to prevent snagging and the finished necklace was oxidised and hand polished back to an antiqued finish to bring out the textures of the wrapping and spiralled coils.

The necklace shown was made 457mm (18") long and closed with my own hand crafted hook and loop clasp and supplied with an additional 75mm (3") extension chain to allow the necklace to be worn at two different lengths; shorter within the V of a blouse neckline and longer over a crew necked top.

There are many processes involved in the crafting of this striking necklace and this is reflected in the price.  The necklace you receive will not be identical to the one shown, due to the random, yet balanced, placing of the charms, but will be made to the same quality of workmanship and specification.  Please ensure that you view the additional photographs by clicking [+] More Images to see the necklace from different angles and to see the detail of the design.
