Aubergine and green glass pendant with molten buds

A deep aubergine and green antiqued copper glass bead pendant.  The core of this entirely hand crafted pendant is a striking hand made bead in a deep aubergine purple glass, spiralled with swirls of a deep teal green.    This will be a one of a kind necklace as I only had the one bead.

The glass bead has been topped with a cluster of molten copper buds.  The large eye bail is formed from the large balled copper headpin through the bead and double wire wrapped at the top for additional texture.  The bail has been hammered and polished and the pendant has been oxidised and tumbled to a lovely gunmetal sheen, just enough to allow some of the copper to show through.  If you'd like it polishing a little further to an antiqued appearance, please ask at the time of purchase. 

The pendant drops 48mm (1.8") overall from the included antiqued copper cable chain.  The bead is 15mm (0.6") at its widest.  The chain fastens with my own hand crafted hook and loop clasp and will be supplied 18" (460mm) by default, but if you'd like a different length (up to 24" within this price), please let me know and I'll make something else to order for you.
