Antiqued copper teardrop pendant with spiralled coils

An entirely hand crafted teardrop shaped pendant in antiqued copper, featuring a section of  tightly coiled wire spirals, wire wrapped to cold forged teardrop shape of the pendant, which hangs from and antiqued copper belcher (rollo) chain.

The teardrop pendant has been hammered for shape and stability and the hammered section has been formed into a large loop bail, held together with a short section of wrapped wire.

The pendant has been antiqued to bring out the intense texture of the coiled section after extensive hand polishing to give it a lovely smooth shiny finish. All cut ends are filed smooth to prevent snagging or scratching. The antiqued copper pendant hangs from a chain of solid copper belcher or rollo chain which fastens with my own hook and loop fastening.

The pendant drops 54mm (2.1") overall from the chain and is 28mm (1.1") at its widest. The chain will be made to order for you, up to 28" (710mm) in length - so please let me know what length you would like it. A default length of 20" would be supplied if a size isn't specified.
