Antiqued copper squiggle earrings with a bud and flower

Antiqued copper earrings with a long drop squiggle which has been hammered and wire wrapped with a simple curved disc flower with a central molten bud of rosy copper.

The core feature of these entirely hand crafted earrings are a pair of long hammered squiggles cold formed from a length of heavy gauge copper wire.  It has been hammered along the length with flattened ends.  The top has been drilled with a hole for the large classic shaped earwires and the bottom has been shaped into a round paddle.

Near the base they have been wire wrapped with a stylistic flower cup I've made from copper clay and is held in place by the rosy copper molten bud at the end of the wire - it's loose enough to jiggle as they move.  All cut ends have been polished smooth and the earrings have been antiqued and hand polished for colour and interest.

The earrings hang 61mm (2.4") overall from the top of the earwires and hang 8mm (0.3") at their widest.

Please note:  these earrings are not currently in stock and won't be replaced in the current incarnation - the little caps were proving problematic to make, so I've replaced it with a slightly larger cupped flower and a slightly different overall design, which should show in the Related Products section below.
