Antiqued copper and blue sponge quartz toggle bracelet

Entirely hand crafted copper bracelet featuring delicate blue beads of sponge quartz, spiral wrapped in copper and finishing with a hand crafted copper toggle clasp.  The chunky toggle clasp features a tiny simple flower pattern.  I decided to pair the blue sponge quart with this toggle as the [dyed] colour of the beads reminded me of the forget-me-nots in bloom as I made this, which went perfectly with the flowers on the toggle

Sponge quartz is a crystalline form of quartz, which gives rise to its attractive marbled and cloud-like interior structure.  These stones have been dyed to this delicate aqua blue colour.

The bracelet has been antiqued to enhance the textures and bring out the warm tones of aged copper. The toggle loop has been shaped with a slight curve to allow the shaped, wire wrapped toggle bar to sit neatly in place.

Toggle clasps are easy to fasten one-handed and I craft and measure them very carefully for a reliable closure and safety in wear. They won't come undone by themselves, but that also makes them a little more fiddly to fasten - so you'll need a little ease in the fit to allow the bar to pass all the way through the hole, point first, to fall back into place.

Bracelet fit:

The bracelet has a fit of 155mm (6.15") and is 20mm (¾") at its widest, at the toggle clasp. Each sponge quartz bead is 10mm (0.4") in diameter. 

As this bracelet is on the smaller end of an average fit, I have already prepared an additional link that can easily be added if you would prefer it slightly larger.  The addition of this extra link would give rise to a fit of 174mm (6.8").   Please make a note that you would like this doing in the comment box during checkout.
