Abstract design etched copper pendant on chain

This antiqued copper pendant features a unique abstract design, created by manipulating one of my own photographs.  It is one of a kind (OOAK) and has been antiqued to enhance the texture of the etched design.

The pendant has been entirely hand made from copper sheet and etched with an electrostatic salt water technique using a design I created by digitally manipulating one of my own photographs to create an abstract design mask for the etching.

Once etched, it has been extensively shaped and polished by hand to make it comfortable to the touch and oxidised and polished back to enhance the detail of the etched design. I decided to keep the hanging treatment simple and it hangs from a hand made chunky oval shaped jump ring on a necklace of antiqued copper cable chain.

The pendant measures 58mm (2¼") long by 20mm (0.78") wide and it drops 61mm (2.4") overall from the chain. The necklace, which fastens with my own hand crafted hook and loop clasp, will be made to order, to your requirements, up to 760mm (30") - please remember to tell me when ordering, what length that you would like it making for you.
