Antiqued copper spiral wrapped pendant with large tiger iron bead on a hammered paddle pin with feature integral hammered bail.
The pendant has been formed from a single length of heavy gauge copper wire formed into a hammered feature bail which then spirals around the large tiger iron bead and terminates in a hammered paddle pin wrapped with the rest of the wire.
The large bead of the pendant is Tiger Iron - so called because it is a banded amalgam of tiger's eye, black haematite and some red jasper. The combination gives rise to a pleasing swirl of different finishes, from the metallic reflective strands of the haematite and swirly iridescent banding of the tiger's eye.
The pendant has been extensively hand polished and then antiqued to bring out the textured of the wire wrapping and give it the lovely warm glow of aged copper.
The pendant drops 36mm (1.4") overall from the included antiqued copper cable chain. The pendant is 17mm (0.7") at the widest.
Chain length:
The solid copper cable chain fastens with my own hand crafted hook and loop clasp and will be supplied 18" (460mm) by default, but if you'd like a different length (up to 30" within this price), please let me know and I'll make something else to order for you.
Please note that as chains are made to order for each customer, they are polished to match the pendant, where the ones used in photographs are 'prop' chains that don't necessarily match as well, as they are used for more than one design.
