An entirely hand crafted Sterling silver teardrop loop pendant, made in one piece and extensively hand polished to a sleek and tactile mirror finish.
The pendant is a delicate and classical shape that can be worn with anything and comes on a quality Sterling silver snake chain of a nice weight. I have always loved simple designs and uncluttered lines and this sort of work demands great care to do well and this can only achieved by careful and time-consuming work.
The teardrop has been hand forged from a single loop with an integral twisted bail. It has been hammered to be slightly deeper at the bottom and then hand-polished to a mirror finish. Because I aim to photograph pieces without reflections, so that you can see the details, the true degree of shine is not always evident in the photographs.
It hangs 34mm (1.35") overall in height and is 18mm (0.7") at its widest and comes on a silver snake chain and you can choose from either 16" (406mm) or 18" (457mm) - please specify which you would prefer at the time of ordering.
Please note:
The pendant currently in stock is the hammered one shown in the main photograph, which is fractionally longer than the size specified and features a very soft hammered section at the bottom of the loop.
