Natural brown Picasso Jasper teardrop earrings

Teardrop shaped antiqued copper earrings with gorgeous marbled stones of natural brown Picasso jasper hung from a decorative headpin featuring my leaf shaped spirals.

I have been dying to use these stones for a while, but just wasn't sure what to do with them, then seeing them on my bench adjacent to some copper leaf spirals waiting to be hammered, I realised that they were the same basic shape and set about bringing the two together and making a decorative feature of the 'headpin' they hang on.

The tops of the stone have been simply wrapped with a double layer of copper wire and they hang from my large classic earwires.  All cut ends have been filed smooth for your comfort and the leaf spiral is highly polished.  The earrings have been antiqued to enhance the textures.

They hang 43mm (1.7") overall from the top of the earwires and the stones are 16mm (0.63") at their widest.    Please note that these stones are natural, so the patterns and colouration will naturally vary a little from pair to pair.


Please note These are the last pair of these earrings, as they are the last of the stones I have.  Also note that the colour of this last pair are quite a plain brown with rather less pattern.
