Antiqued copper double shaggy loops earrings

These antiqued copper earrings are entirely hand crafted and they feature a loose and slinky chain of hand made copper jump rings, woven into a chainmaille pattern known as shaggy loops. As I've doubled the number of rings used in my copper version, I call this pattern double shaggy loops.
The chain of the earrings started out as straight copper wire which I coiled and cut into individual rings and then wove together into this nicely weighted pair of long drop earrings. There are around 70 individual rings in the pair of earrings. Each link along the length of the chain features 4 loose rings, 2 on each side, giving rise to the lovely fluid style and movement of these earrings. Each earring has a small copper bead at the bottom of the chain section, in order to give the bottom a nice rounded off finished appearance.
The earrings drop 49mm (1.9") overall from the top of the straight drop earwires and they are around 10mm (0.4") at their widest in wear.
The earrings are also available in raw polished copper. Please see the additional photographs to see the pair that haven't been antiqued. The antiqued pair will be sent by default, but please let me know in the comment box during checkout if you would prefer the polished shiny copper pair.
