Entirely hand crafted antiqued copper and Mashan Jade toggle bracelet. The fabulously intense green Mashan Jade beads have been spiral wrapped in copper to form the body of the bracelet and finish with a hand crafted copper toggle clasp.
The toggle loop of the clasp features my own exclusive digitially drawn geometric pattern and a wire wrapped toggle bar.
The beads are called Mashan Jade which is a trade name given to the material from the manufacturer and isn't actually Jade at all. The beads are a white marble that has been dyed a lovely intense green, which emphasises the orangey brown matrix and swirls in the stone.
Toggle clasps are easy to fasten one-handed and I craft and measure them very carefully for a reliable closure and safety in wear. They won't come undone by themselves, but that also makes them a little more fiddly to fasten - so you'll need a little ease in the fit to allow the bar to pass all the way through the hole, point first, to fall back into place.
Bracelet fit:
The bracelet has a fit of 150mm (5.9") and is 19mm (¾") at its widest, at the toggle clasp. Each jade bead is 10mm (0.4") in diameter.
As this bracelet is on the smaller end of an average fit, I have already prepared an additional link that can easily be added if you would prefer it slightly larger. The addition of this extra link would give rise to a fit of 169mm (6.6"). Please make a note that you would like this doing in the comment box during checkout.
